Prescription pills continue to rise. When it comes to the media it seems as though they hide certain facts whether it’s for politics or money and what irks me is that they will talk all day and night about gun control and leave prescription pills out of it. Maybe they are all on pills themselves or they are being forced to report these stories. Makes one wonder how good of journalists and/or anchors they are since a good one would have no limits and loves to express what’s on their minds and what they believe, or maybe that’s why they are portrayed as “fake media,” whatever the truth is, we as human beings should open our eyes and do the research ourselves, believing everything you hear or see on television will make you insane. “The Pholosopher” explains when it comes to gun control and the media comparing us to other countries like Australia and their homicide rate declining to 1 in 100,000 in 2017, they fail to mention (do they even research what they talk about?) that first, Australia’s crime rate was already on the decline, with a firearm declination of 3% annually for years before the ban, meaning that the other factors were influencing the change. Second, when comparing Australia to the United States, the population size and nature of legal differences must be accurately accounted for. Australia is a country of about 24 million people. The United States population is over 320 million. To make an apt comparison for questioning the efficacy of gun control, one must consider that Australia has a smaller total population and uniform federal gun law restrictions, unlike the 50 states. To make a proper analysis, one should compare the states in the U.S. with the most gun freedom with Australia’s population. If one counts the population in America’s most pro-gun states up to Australian population count, and then compares the homicide rate, a clarity will emerge that demonstrates a negligible difference. In Australia, across 24 million people, there is approximately 1 homicide per 100,000. Counting up approximately 24 million people from the most gun friendly populations of New Hampshire, Vermont, North Dakota, Minnesota, Utah, Maine, Oregon, and Arizona, the homicide rate is approximately 1.6 per 100,000, a negligible difference in what is a vastly different legislative scheme for gun control. With this in mind, it should be clear why the mainstream media frames nationwide comparisons to make it appear that gun control laws are the magic bullet to stopping homicides, they don’t want to look at the states with more gun freedom. If you look at the states with the most gun control like New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, and Rhode Island. These states have an average of 3.78 homicides per 100,000 people! I am not sharing this to convince you to buy a gun or to side with anyone, my point is gun control will not help. We need people control! It is the people that are changing, not the gun. I wonder what the percentage of people who vote gun control are on some kind of drug, this would be an interesting poll.
It’s not only what the media lies about, it’s all those famous men and women that every young kid/adult are striving to look and be like when instead they should be striving to be more like Jesus. It is addicting, this is one of the ways depression sets in, especially for young girls. They see these famous girls that look perfect because of the plastic surgery and toxins they pump their bodies with and they start to hate themselves because they aren’t pretty enough, or thin enough. They think that is the healthy way to go because they are on a cover of a health magazine. What happens next? They either turn to drugs and/alcohol, their parents have them prescribed pills, and/or if they have the money they get the surgery done themselves. This is not healthy, if you look deep into these famous women’s lives you will see they have medical problems, why? How? Heavy metals can cause all sorts of issues from skin problems, infertility, to cancer, but they don’t talk about that. They need us to think they are perfect and have perfect lives when they don’t behind closed doors, and if they do talk about it they portray it as normal or it runs in the family. There aren’t normal diseases, cancer or health issues. Yes it does run in the family because we learn how to be unhealthy through generations. For example, if your ancestors ate junk food, and/or unhealthy foods with either too much of something or too little and they get diabetes, anemia, skin problems, or obesity, and the way they ate and lived their lifestyle was passed down and taught to you what do you think it going to happen? Unless you changed the unhealthy chain you are going to have the same problems. This is not rocket science, this is so easy to understand, but it’s not our fault, if we aren’t taught this way then we have to figure it out on our own. I didn’t understand this until my late 20’s, and I am still having problems defeating unhealthy foods. Junk food is addicting, and the majority of the time it is sugar being the main culprit in the food as to why it is so addicting. I believe if we change the we look at things the things we look at change. If we change our thought patterns and believe we can get healthy and get off the medication we can do it. Put down the social media fakeness, pick up the bible and make a difference. Be a good role model to others, and be the reason someone smiles. With God all things are possible. This world isn’t getting any better, the school shootings will continue to happen if we don’t get our lives right with God and healthy. The last shooting that occurred the shooter was on psychotropic drugs. It seems as though all of the school shootings have been kids on psychotropic drugs. But it’s the guns fault, right? An interesting fact is from 1996-2013 adults who filled a benzodiazepine prescription increased by 67 percent, I wonder how many of these adults have children…. Regardless, this world isn’t getting any better, we need to work on ourselves. Like Hippocrates says, Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. If we eat right eventually we will get healthier and healthier and slowly the medication won’t be needed. Be your own health detective. Pray for guidance and help. God won’t hurt you, abuse you, mistreat you or laugh at you. God loves you.
