Obedient Lifestyle

There comes a time in our lives where we have to face the greatest ultimatum known to man. Live or die. Some may think this is a bit extreme but we’ve all been there. We can look at this a couple different ways, we can live in the moment and continue however we are living our lives, or die because we give up. We can live by positively moving forward improving ourselves for God, while we let our old negative self die, along with all of the negative bad influential people from our past. I say “for God” instead of “for yourself” because majority of people today always seem to think that they don’t have anything or anyone to live for because they forgot about God or never really met Him. We all have problems in our lives like drugs, alcohol, anger, financial, depression, etc… It is up to us to change and choose which path we want to live. God created us, He wants us to live happy lives and trust in Him to do so. Not man, not your boyfriend, not you wife, HIM! God should always be first! If you put Him first, I promise you He will bless you like crazy! (We also must not forget, God knows our hearts and what we truly want and feel, this can’t be faked towards Him like it can be faked to the people around you.) Look at some of the old prophets from the Bible like Samuel, Elijah, Elisha or Daniel. These men put God first and was taken care of to the fullest. This is why we should live for God rather than ourselves, because God has many great blessings to offer us including everlasting life in paradise, A.K.A Heaven. Killing ourselves is not going to solve anything. You will become a distant memory, you may or may not hurt your family emotionally or physically but that will soon fade too. Killing is also a sin, it is one of the commandments, do you really want to break a commandment before you die without asking God for forgiveness? I know I wouldn’t. It’s not worth it, trust me. We can all better ourselves but it will be hard, if there are no struggles there is no growth. We have to conquer the demons before we succeed to the next test by trusting God. We will be tested throughout life, but this will only make us stronger. God allows this because this is the kind of people He wants us to be, strong and wise so we can lead others to the right path. After the decision is made to make a change, this is where we need to focus and commit to bettering ourselves to succeed.

So if we really want a better life, and really want a change then we need to make the decision. Do we want to live or do we want to die. Do we want to keep our old life? Or do we want a happier life? Just remember, the decisions you make will determine your future.
