Lost Hearts Found Love: Never Lonely Again

Today, as I read chapter 3 of the Song of Solomon in the Bible, it got me thinking about how many people are seeking God without even realizing it. Many are searching for true love, not realizing that it is God who can provide that love. As a result, they end up feeling incomplete and lonely because no human being can fulfill you like our Lord and Savior can.

Unfortunately, loneliness is a prevalent issue in our world today. Following the Covid-19 lockdowns, the global loneliness rate surged from 33% to over 45%. The statistics from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration in 2021 revealed a heartbreaking reality – someone died by suicide every 11 minutes. It’s truly a devastating fact to consider. Personally, I have experienced the loss of loved ones to suicide. Reflecting on our conversations, it’s clear that they were yearning for love and struggling with depression.

Many individuals keep their feelings hidden, either out of embarrassment or the fear of burdening others. However, for those who are observant, the signs of inner turmoil are often visible. Some are skilled at masking their pain, particularly in the realm of social media, making it challenging to recognize their suffering until it’s too late. It’s disheartening to witness so many people searching for love when it has been within reach all along. People are often blinded by the distractions of the world, preventing them from recognizing the love that surrounds them. As stated in 1 John 4:8, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

Ellen white says in Youth Instructor- Jan 13, 1898 “Pure love is simple in its operations, and separate from every other principle of action. When combined with earthly motives and selfish interests, it ceases to be pure. God considers more with how much love we work, than the amount we do. Love is a heavenly attribute. The natural heart cannot originate it. This heavenly plant only flourishes where Christ reigns supreme. Where love exists, there is power and truth in the life. Love does good and nothing but good. Those who have love bear fruit unto holiness, and in the end everlasting life.” Without a connection to God, we cannot truly understand or experience genuine love.

1 John 5:1-4 affirms when we give our lives to Jesus we become children of God. Our love for God is demonstrated through obedience to His commandments, facilitated by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This divine love surpasses any human affection we may encounter. While human relationships may falter, God’s love remains steadfast and unwavering.

In 1 John 5:1-4: ” Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

When faced with challenges or negativity, turning to God and His promises can bring about a profound shift in perspective. By focusing on gratitude towards God and the blessings in your life, it is possible to overcome trials and emerge stronger. Trials are not meant to be perceived as punishments but rather as opportunities for growth and resilience. By staying faithful and trusting in God’s plan, even the most difficult circumstances can lead to blessings.

God embodies a love unlike any you’ve ever experienced. You might question whether this is the love you seek, but how can you truly know without feeling it firsthand? While human beings may offer love and affection, they often disappoint, whether through disloyalty, abuse, or causing tears. In contrast, with God, you need not fear any of these pains. He will never harm you; He will always stand by your side.

It’s crucial not to jeopardize your happiness, mental well-being, and, above all, your salvation for the sake of others. Take a moment to reflect on your life. List the positives in one column and the negatives in another. Then, consider ways to transform those negatives into positives in a third column. Even if you believe changing these circumstances is insurmountable, remember that with God, all things are possible. Write down “draw closer to God,” as He is the one who can turn the impossible into reality.

Regardless of your age, seek a closer relationship with God; He will guide and support you. It’s essential to prioritize self-care and invite God into your life, as this decision will ultimately benefit you the most. I value God’s approval over that of my friends; I would rather lose a friend than lose God. True happiness cannot be attained through friendships, wealth, or social media followers. God is the sole source of genuine and lasting happiness.

Ultimately, true happiness and fulfillment can only be found in a deep and personal relationship with God. Seeking His guidance, studying His word, and surrounding oneself with a community of believers who uphold His teachings are crucial steps on this spiritual journey. By prioritizing a connection with God above all else, we can find solace, strength, and lasting joy that transcends worldly distractions.

Please remember God is waiting for you, He is waiting to take your hand to help you in your life, no matter what you are dealing with, He can make the impossible possible, nothing is too much for our God. He loves you that much. Like is says in Isaiah 9:17 …”His hand is stretched out still.” If that’s not true love, then I don’t know what is, even though we sinned and upset Him God will still forgive us if we truly repent and follow Him. He gave us free will so it’s up to you which way you go in life, will you seek God’s help or the devil? The choice is yours.

Here are some tips to getting closer to God:

  • Pray throughout the day, pray for guidance, protection, and help understanding the Bible
  • Read the King James Bible, the revised bible may be easier to read but they are edited, many verses are missing, changed or added in. This may confuse you or lead you off the path to God. Click here to learn about these corrupt bibles. Remember what Revelation 22:18-19 says? “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
  • Find a church that obeys the 10 commandments and keeps the real Sabbath holy, not Sunday. Click here to find a church. and Click here to find out when the true Sabbath is. Make sure what your Pastor preaches matches up with the Bible, if not then you need to leave that church. If you can’t find a church study alone until you find one.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

“Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
