Wolves Dressed in Sheep’s Clothing

god psalm461

I know some people with endless problems, and I used to be just like these people. Any time I had a problem I would go to friends, family, or doctors. And although my parents told me time and time again to always turn to Jesus in these situations, I never did because I was lost and I didn’t believe or understand what Jesus can really do for me, until he was my only choice. You could tell me until I was blue in the face but I didn’t believe he could help a big sinner like myself, and I always thought you had to be walking on water to have him hear me, but I would still talk to God in my head all the time, yea… doesn’t make sense…but neither did the life I was living at the time. So back to this people I was talking about, I tried to give someone advice about God, and how to live a healthy lifestyle but it was like I was talking to a wall. They believe they have to be on numerous pills to live a normal life, they don’t believe eating healthy is important either. Most of all they didn’t believe that living a healthy lifestyle would change the problems they have in their life. The bible says that the lost people wont understand the truth like the believers do, and this is exactly what was happening.

Taking drugs and eating junk food is the norm these days and this is what effects our brain. Our thoughts become corrupt, and we start to believe these wolves in sheep’s clothing. Maybe this person tried asking for help from God and their prayer wasn’t answered so they just gave up, or maybe they tried to change and gave up too soon. Sin is enticing and is seems hard to give up because its all around us.  What I do know is that I didn’t see any miracles or positive changes in my life for a very long time when I first started to read my bible. I now know it is because I wasn’t serious in my heart, and when God finally saw that I was he started to bless me. And it was the best thing that has ever happened to me.

If you want a better life and the gifts that God promises us then you have to believe, try to have faith like Abram and Daniel. It was by their faith that made them obedient to God, and faith will give you the power of God on your side. With God on your side you don’t need anyone or anything else. Think about what you believe, is it consistent with what God says? Don’t let the world tell you a lie that sounds godly but is really just sin dressed up as righteousness. Go after the truth, read and study for yourself. Your life depends on it. And your rewards will be endless.

Jerimiah 17:10 ” I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
